(Hypericum perforatum) This short-lived perennial is a well-investigated medicinal herb that traditionally has been used for wounds, general aches and pains, and is more famous in its use with mild depression and insomnia. This plant is well-suited for use in pollinator habitat restoration and erosion control. Grown from seed, it will create the strongest tap roots. Caution: can become invasive in some areas, though not easily in natural habitats, and can be toxic in large amounts to some livestock.

What are the pros? 100% germ rate?!

What are the cons? tricky to transplant

Review:

I planted 24 cells of SJW in my trays in mid-March, and just transplanted them in the beginning of May. I didn't have any empty cells, but since they're low-growing, they're tricky to transplant without burying them. In the unlikely event that I have to replant them, I'll do it directly from seed. They also grow pretty slowly in the beginning, but they apparently don't have many issues with transplanting even when they're small.
