What are the pros? Fast and dependable

What are the cons? Kind of generic

Review:

In terms of flavor, I prefer the Zlata and the Chinese Icicle's that I grew. However both took much longer. So the beauty of the Saxas is that you can get a bunch of harvests of them if you stagger plantings. They are a dependable source of standard red radishes and you can harvest them before most other varieties. As another reviewer stated, they can be grown in containers. I successfully used 5 gal smart pots. If you want something quick, basic, and reliable, this is an excellent choice.

What are the pros? Early, easy

What are the cons? none

Review:

Planted early in 8B, raised bed dirt with no additives, yet a starter fertilizer in a watering can. The breakfast radishes came up first and these soon followed. Great low spice great flavor. Planted a second crop about a month later. Will keep these as a garden staple.

What are the pros? Everything about them

What are the cons? Nothing to dislike

Review:

These Radishes will start to produce their radish within 18 days under good conditions and continue to get bigger if you leave them in longer. Despite having a warm spring, my XL radishes (left over a month) were not pithy or hollow. They were not spicy or tough on the skin. I've grown these several times in pots and in the ground since I've had them and they never fail. I also recommend the Radish 18 Jours and Hailstone radish to go with these as they all develop quickly and are very mild and juicy. I wouldn't try growing them in the Summer time in Zone 10 but I don't doubt that they'd be decent if pulled early.

Review:

I live in Zone 8 in southern Mississippi. The Saxa II will grow really well here. They have a great taste. Not too spicy and even kind of sweet if you peel the red off. I will always be growing these in my garden. They are perfect for fill in spots because they mature so quickly. If you haven't tried these tasty radishes, you need to.

Review:

People have always told me that radishes are easy to grow in containers. After 3 years of trying to grow other local store purchased varieties and failing, I ordered these seeds based on the reviews indicating other found success with them. These are amazing. They grew in my containers quickly with no problems at all. They produce beautiful and tasty little leaves too. I have a harvested after just 1 month and will replant more. I'll never buy any other radish variety ever again. A previous review said they are "stupid easy to grow". I completely agree. You can't fail with these.
