What are the pros? flowers, taste

What are the cons? finicky

I grew these in 2015 & 2016. The first year was better. The truth is, my season is short-ish and my soil is poor, despite amendments. In 2015 the flowers were more prolific and drew humming birds. I was able to harvest about 2 cups of dried beans, which are large and beautiful! I saved some for replanting and used the rest in soups (soak a handful over night, cook, then add to soup). Delicious! Taste is sort of like a kidney bean. In 2016 I planted them in a space that's more gravelly, so maybe they didn't like that. We also had a good stretch of heat, and they seemed to dry up then. I got a handful of dried beens. I'll plant again for the humming birds, but will try another variety with a shorter season for the crop.
