What are the pros? Gorgeous Beans

What are the cons? None

Review:

OMG I've never seen anything like these runner beans, both Scarlet Runner and Sunset Runner. This is the first time I've tried them, mostly for color to climb my chain link fences and to acquire their seeds. I soaked them overnight and tried to plant them the next morning in Peat Pellets. But they are SO HUGE they would not fit down into the pellet. With the bottom of the bean touching the tray, the top of the bean was exposed and I could not cover them with the Peat Pellet. The sides of the Pellets busted open. I went out to get some potting soil to cover them, but the next morning, (day two), they had all sprouted. I am amazed. At 68 years, its hard to experience anything that shocks or amazes me anymore, but these seeds did. I can hardly wait to get them outside next to my fence and watch them go! Five Stars so far.

I got 100% germination from these seeds. They grow quick and if you give them something to grab on to they will take off. Love.

Review:

LOVE this bean!! I planted this bean two years in a row so far and plan to grow them forever. They are prolific in my sometimes shady corner of the garden, growing on the fence. They are a tangled jungle of gorgeous bright red flowers. The dry beans are the best part. I pick them in the fall after a frost so they're easier to find and mostly dried out (although there are always some that are still green). They are huge and meaty and delicious! I make my own frozen burritos and use a mix of home grown beans (black, kidney and pinto) and these are my favorite....when I get a bite with a big meaty scarlett runner bean in it, it's awesome! I highly recommend!
