What are the pros? Great productivity

What are the cons? Starts slow

Review:

We love these peppers - they are tasty in Indian dishes due to their good, consistent heat. We pick them small and rarely let them get to the red stage. They were a little later than some of our other peppers. Overall a winner.

What are the pros? Productive

What are the cons?

Review:

I've been growing this pepper for six years at 5,800 feet in the foothills of the Rockies. It starts slow, but really gets going just in time for fresh salsa with my tomatoes. And keeps going til frost killed. It was still flowering this past October the day before our first freeze.

What are the cons? none

Review:

These guys are doing well in Cali by the Bay. No trouble germinating inside in January. Moved outside late March and they handled it well. Fruits started off small, but are now taking off. The plants are about 30" tall and 18" wide. I am glad I caged them. Great flavor.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, big producer

What are the cons? none

Review:

These peppers grow easily and vigorously. In my opinion, they are a little spicier and tastier than a jalapeno. Along with these, I grow various habaneros and sweet peppers, but none produce fruit as well as the serrano tampequino. I am delighted by how early in the spring they start and how late in the fall they continue to make peppers.
