These stunning blue flower spikes will welcome hummingbirds, honeybees and butterflies to your garden. This selection produces an extra heavy crop of blooms! Native Perennial from Mexico to Texas, Sirius Blue is drought tolerant and will thrive in rocky soil. This compact plant will only reach 12-16 inches in height, making it a great choice for the border.

Review:

I've been planting mounds of flowers & herbs in the orchard to promote pollinators, and these Salvia have been the belle of the ball. Started them indoors in March, and the germinated very quickly. Transplanted well, and took to their new home in the orchard. Granted it's been a very wet year. But I haven't watered them a bit, and they've been very happy. Their color and height really catch the eye from a distance -- especially if you never go 'round to take care of it (like I did), and forget that it's there...it's a beautiful surprise each time. ;)

Review:

I love these flowers. I planted them in one of my veggie beds and they were very considerate neighbors, sticking to their own allocated space, all while bringing in a host of pollinating insects. I am also partial to blue, so the color was beautiful. I already purchased more seeds for next year’s garden. These are now on my must have list.
