An old standard in pansies, large flowers come in many bright and attractive colors. The flowers have long stems and add an old-fashioned touch to any garden.

What are the pros? Gorgeous colors love heat

What are the cons? None

Review:

Planted just a few to see how they would come out. Usually any pansies I get from the nursery are done by the midsummer heat. They wither despite my daily efforts to keep them going. NOT THESE!!! They are easy to keep. Pushing petals like no tomorrow and laughing at the summer blahs. No pansy made it past Early July. These aren't checking the calendar. Just keep'em watered, a tad bit fertilizer and you've got it made. A very European look mixed with dwarf jewel nasturtiums. Fabulous.

Review:

I started many seeds, not knowing if they would all germinate...turns out all of them wanted to bloom and I had pansies galore! They are very easy to take care of. Just sprinkle in a few seeds (I use containers), cover with a little bit of dirt, water, and wait. If you're looking for a zero effort flower that's attractive, go for these!

Review:

These are so very pretty!!! I was going to wait for late summer so I would have them in the fall, but my 5 year old wanted to plant them, so we did. I love them. Seeing all the different colors and being surprised by how well they are growing has been so much fun. I started them in April and put them in a larger planter in May. It is now the first of July and we have been enjoying blooms for a few weeks now.

Review:

I love these pansys. I started them indoors in January, and they took many weeks to pop up. In fact, I got impatient, thinking they weren't coming up, and spread more out. Needless to say, I ended up with way more plants than I originally planned to grow. I ended up with two flats of 1" pots, and moved them outdoors in a very chilly spring. They didn't grow very much outside until the weather warmed up till closer to 50s at night. Once, it got to that though, flowers! I had 7 flowers pop out in two days. So far the white, with purple streaked throats are the first. Looking forward to seeing them get big!
