What are the pros? Great jalapeno flavor, mild
What are the cons? No dislikes
I have been growing this variety for a long time. For 2017 I got the sees from Baker Creek, and the plants were sturdy and produced an amazing quantity of peppers. Due to a broken arm, the garden was somewhat neglected as far as picking things. These peppers hung on the plants and just waited until I got to them. They stayed nice; didn't rot. I highly recommend this variety to anyone who likes the jalapeno flavor, but would like a milder pepper. It is still hot, but not as hot as most jalapenos. Great to use on sandwiches, to make relishes, or hot pepper jelly. The jelly poured over cream cheese is a nice appetizer with crackers. Also on a cold winter day, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich made with the this jalapeno jelly really hits the spot and warms nicely!
