85 days. Beautiful, smooth, large red fruit are globe-shaped. With good disease resistance, great yields, perfect shape, and wonderful flavor; it’s superb for market growers. This variety was developed by Merlyn and Mary Ann Niedens, longtime seed growers in Illinois. Bred from heirloom varieties, it has fantastic taste and is one of our all-time best-selling varieties. Try it and you will see why!

What are the pros? Best tasting, huge producer

What are the cons? none

Review:

These tomatoes are the best I have ever tasted. The texture and flavor are unbeatable. They are excellent fresh, canned, and frozen! They ripened early and produced well all season. I had wheelbarrows full of tomatoes. ;) They are uniform in appearance, untroubled by bugs, and didn't split. They have a permanent place in my garden.

Review:

Tappy's Heritage fruits have that full flavor, productivity and insect resistance that make it one of the best to grow. Particularly resistant to marmorated stink bugs. Crack resistant too.

I cannot find any faults with this tomato! It performed well in my garden, producing a good amount of fruits which are the perfect slicing tomato. The taste was classic...I will be planting these again next year.

What are the pros? Beautiful, impressive fruit

What are the cons? None

Review:

I grew around 20 different tomatoes from seed. Some didn't produce as I expected . Tappy on the other hand, was by far the most productive of all of them. Beautiful large well shaped tasty fruit. I could not believe how many tomatoes I got from one plant. It is the last one to give up this year. I will be growing this next year, probably two or more plants. I will have to plan on using my strongest cages or buy one larger to hold up the plant. Thank you for providing this seed. It is definitely worth the space in ones garden.

Review:

Wow, if you aren't old enough to have tasted tomatoes in the 50's then you better try these! I had forgotten why I used to eat tomatoes like apples until I grew these. They are a medium sized tomato that put out all season.
