I don't write many reviews, but want to chime in on this one. I pampered these at the first planting. They did well. Then they bolted. I was disappointed til I sampled a leaf from the bolted plant - it was still very mild, and delicious. We were harvesting the leaves from our Tatsoi long after bolting, with the plants so tall they were flopped over. Didn't matter to us anymore whether they bolted, since they were still very good. When the first planting went to seed, we harvested it, threw it on an unused garden bed, and shortly thereafter had a thick, second crop of it. As a plus, the deer barely bothered with it. So, if you don't like to pamper your veggies, and don't want to worry about temperature swings and bolting, plant Tatsoi! We will be throw-and-growing Tatsoi again!
