75 days. Small plants set lots of unique, glowing, golden-orange, carrot-shaped fruits that are borne upright on plants--so colorful! These are superb for the flower garden or as a potted plant. Crisp 6-inch fruit are flavorful, being sweet, crisp and sometimes slightly sharp-tasting. Very nutritious and fun to grow.

What are the pros? Cool Pod Habit, Citrus Notes

What are the cons? Trellis Must, late season

Review:

Took a shot at this one. Its supposed mid-season cultivar status wasn't very true. We had a few peppers that were ripened fully but I'd say closer to 95 DtM. The plants grew upwards of 38" in the ground but someone as my witness they need to be heavily trellised. The fruit grew over 7" long. The combination of breezes, rain and weight caused damage all over from leaning plants to snapping limbs. I would grow it again but in a greenhouse here and not exposed to the elements unless fortified heavily. Did I say it needs to be trellised?

Review:

this is my second year growing them in the sun room I just leave them in 1 gall. pots and they do great! it has to be one of the easiest peppers I have grown! all you need is 2 plants and you will get plenty of peppers! I like making Denver omelet's but instead of green peppers I use these ones! its yummy!

What are the pros? color, flavor

What are the cons? none

Review:

I grow many different peppers but focus mostly on orange ones. Have been growing this one intermittently for years. The fruits are pretty and glossy - I don't think I ever saw a blemish or even a mis-shapen fruit. Flesh is crisp.

What are the pros? Easy Grower, Brightly Colored

What are the cons? None

Review:

Great colorful addition to the garden! Its has a crunchy, juicy, tangy flavor at first bite and followed with a light, yet delightful sweetness. A bush like appearance, the plant never grew taller than 2 feet tall.

Review:

First year growing this pepper, we started inside with bottom heat and had great germination. Gave plants away to friends. Grew 6 for myself in self watering buckets, we have gotten two harvests of 8-10 peppers per plant each time and have a third set of peppers starting to turn. The peppers are sweet and delicious, they are good raw or cooked. We make our own pepper and onion mix to use in the winter. Next year we will keep more of these plants for ourselves.
