Review:

The Whole Seed Catalog is a treasure of information on growing and saves me hours on the Internet looking up information for crops I have not grown before. Great resource and well worth the $10. Baker Creek seeds are excellent. I've grown some of the more exotic offerings that can survive in my local climate. The packets always have contained more seed than promised, and they never fail to sprout. They're fresh and handled carefully, so their viability lasts longer.. I've seen other's seeds for sale locally that are kept in humid places and aren't any good any more. When I save leftover Baker Creek seeds in the fridge for another season, they keep their viability a whole lot longer than seeds I get locally.

Review:

About five years ago I called on the phone and ask for a catalog. I'm in business and know how much catalogs cost. LOTS. I explained that I lived in a Trailer Park and that I missed gardening as well as the life I had before. "Could you send me a catalog to give me hope.?" "Yes we will" and the catalog did give me hope. I read it like a book. Then I bought some seeds and gave most as gifts, but tried to grow some in the foot and a half wide by seven foot long space beside my car. I grew the "Lucid Gem Tomato" and some "Rattle Snake Beans". I built a scaffolding out of thin six foot bamboo stakes tied together with zip ties. It was a work free standing art. The tomatoes (to my surprise) prospered as did the beans. I refuse to give up AND someday I will have another garden that gets more than three hours of sun! THANK YOU.
