What are the pros? Smooth flesh, wonderful flavor
What are the cons? Powdery mildew, stem detaches
I love the flavor and texture of this unusual acorn-type squash. It grows in a bush habit and is quite prolific, but you could grow it in a small space. I only gave it 4 stars because it is very susceptible to powdery mildew in my garden and the stems detaches too easily. Otherwise, an excellent choice that I will grow every year. I can't wait to try it in a pie!
