A beautiful take on the classic Trinidad Scorpion pepper!
This hot but stunning chili pepper is about 150 times
hotter than the Jalapeno, and we recommend wearing
gloves when harvesting and being cautious when eating it
raw. The short, stubby, 1-2 inch long, wrinkled, chocolatey,
cocoa-brown-red peppers are borne on productive plants.
The peppers have a distinctly mellow, less acidic flavor
with smoky undertones and hints of a nice earthy sweetness--
perfect for hot sauces!
