What are the cons? Took awhile to take off
We tried this variety this year instead of our usual green zukes. The squash is so pretty and a bit easier to spot than the green ones. I think the flavor is lovely, mild but maybe slightly nutty. I've mostly eaten it saut?ed in butter. Best picked small like other summer squash, but even the bigger ones aren't crazy seedy. The only downside I have seen so far is that it took awhile longer to start producing than I was used to with different varieties but boy has it started to take off now! I will be planting again for sure.
