Review:

I was surprised at the size of these flowers, and was disappointed that nothing about their small size was mentioned on the packaging or description, as I got them assuming they would be the same size as a typical hollyhock. I think the largest ones might have been slightly bigger than a quarter, or somewhere between that and a half dollar. However, I bought them to put in the butterfly garden as a striking and different flower, and they definitely did not disappoint! I sowed them directly in spring and they came up easily. Plants themselves are also smaller and skinnier than a typical hollyhock, but that really worked out well in the spot in which they grew. They were so cute! I have had a few people ask about them, and they looked beautiful in the summer bouquets we made. The Japanese beetles were hard on them, but I didn't see anything else bother them; after the JB's passed, they pulled through well and are still blooming and it's August 10th. Will replant next year for sure
