What are the pros? Easy to grow, great producer
What are the cons? Very mild flavor
I grew these in pots in spring in transplanted them. I also direct sowed them in the garden in May and June; both methods were successful. They are very prolific and are moderately more flavorful than green zucchini. Still very mild though and not as strong as some other old timey varieties. Still, I can't complain, though; they were problem free and abundant for me. I will definitely grow them again. They did well in spite of a very cool and wet spring and a summer that alternated between cool and rainy and extremely hot.
