50 days. The old standard since 1925, does better in hot weather than most. Glossy, deep green, delicious leaves.

What are the pros? Color and flavor

What are the cons? Bolts in the heat

Review:

I have grown this spinach for years. It will bolt in high heat. It is one of my first planets that I set out in the spring. If I harvest early I have no problems. I replant in late summer. It is also one of my last to harvest in the fall. Don't change a thing. Love this.

What are the pros? Flavor and texture

What are the cons? .

Review:

This is my favorite spinach. It did so much better than the hybrid types I have tried before I found this one. This is the standard leave shape and texture that I like. The hybrids came out all jagged and thick leaved. Grew this during the winter and it did fine in zone 9, early spring the bugs liked to munch on it so I used diatomaceous earth.

Review:

This is the first spinach I tried to grow, I broadcast the seed and thinned the tender babies for salad, later as they grew tall I would take leaf by leaf for salad and drying. Makes excellent animal feed when it finally goes to seed. Love it
