Lovely, bright green, frizzled, leafy heads that are very ruffled. Good resistance to bolting. Tender leaves are first rate in salads; an extra fine Italian variety.

What are the pros? easy and fast growing

What are the cons? none

Review:

I bought this lettuce based on the awesome reviews and I was not let down. This lettuce grew quickly and produced a great tasting NOT bitter lettuce that I was forced to give away to friends because I couldn't eat quickly enough. I will be growing more this fall and hoping I can save seed from the two heads I "let" bolt. I have grown several loose leaf mixes and some heads but this is by far my new favorite. (Oh I do have one negative, I giggle when I try and say the name--but that is my issue not yours :)

What are the pros? Tasty, heat and cold tolerant

What are the cons? None

Review:

Great all-green lettuce. Nice color, flavor, crispness, and loft in a salad. Heat and cold tolerant. I believe this is the best lettuce Baker Creek sells. Will grow again.

What are the pros? Easy indoors hydroponics

What are the cons? None

Review:

I grow this indoors in my hydroponics setup. It is consistently the best tasting lettuce and we eat it almost every day. It handles 24 hour lighting and produces quickly, and we've been able to take one or two cuttings at times without imparting a bitter taste. Be sure to eat it when you pick it though, it wilts quickly and at most, you can hold it overnight before it becomes too soft for a crisp salad. It makes a great smoothie addition when that happens though.

What are the pros? Yummy, best lettuce

What are the cons? None

Review:

Best tasting lettuce, does well in Houston, TX winter, only lettuce not attacked by bugs here, compact with lots of tender leaves, will produce for very long time. Can't say enough about it! Wish they sold it in bulk!

Review:

Really pretty and tasty, summer is blistering so far in Ohio but lettuce has not bolted, although does not appear to be growing either. Going to water it more and see what happens. Will grow it again.
