Very large, 4-5-inch double flowers. This California heirloom dates back to 1919. The plants bloom all season and make superb cut flowers. This mix contains cherry, orange, pink, purple, scarlet, yellow and white.

What are the pros? Very productive

What are the cons? Some a little too tall!

Review:

These were amazing and very prolific! The stems were very strong and sturdy. What I wasn't expecting was the size! Yes, of course they are "giants" but some of them were almost 8 feet tall!! I had to stake these to protect form wind. I started these from seed indoors in late March and almost every seed germinated. I was very happy with this type, but now know to prepare for them to be 5-8 feet tall instead of 3-4.

What are the pros? Long lasting blooms

Review:

If your on the fence with these zinnia's take a chance. They are over three foot tall, vibrant colors, and drought resistant. I'm in San Antonio where August is over 100F, and these flowers only need water in the morning. If I forget, and they have wilted in our heat, they pop right back up with a quick drink. What I love most are the beautiful reds, purples, oranges, and purples. I will definitely be planting these again next year.

What are the pros? easy to grow

What are the cons? nothing

Review:

Every year I sow mixed zinnias. Every packet states that they "may contain" red, yellow, and white. Much to my very happy surprise the first three blooms are red, yellow, and white! :)

What are the pros? Bold colors, lasting blooms

What are the cons? none

Review:

These zinnias are a mainstay in my garden. Like other reviewers, I plant them in the middle of my raised beds to attract pollinators. I've had hummingbirds, butterflies, bees of all kinds, and some undesirable moth-types (but still pollinators) visit them. The flowers are brilliant, large, and the blooms last a long time. They are very tall. I should be nice and give them a little support, but they keep flowering no matter how poorly I treat them. My veggies in this bed didn't fare well this year, but the flowers are strong and make up for lack of a harvestable crop. They don't make great cut flowers, though. I brought some inside and they were wilted and dead within a few days. Best to enjoy them in their natural setting.
