90 days. Small, perfectly-formed bells are the color of milk chocolate. Stocky plants are amazingly productive! Lucina Cress shared this family-held heirloom from Ohio, where she stuffed these cute little peppers with cabbage, pickled and canned them. Great for salads.

What are the pros? Strong genetics.

What are the cons? Nothing.

Review:

I'm growing 100 peppers indoors and have 11 or 12 different varieties. These plants are the most vigorous and symmetric with dark green leaves! I got these seeds for a quarter in the fall of last year on fire sale thinking what the heck and they turned out to be my best plants with the Melrose pepper coming in second place growth/ indoor adaptability wise.

What are the pros? We got a TON of peppers

What are the cons? Slightly bland

Review:

We were amazed at how many peppers we harvested from these plants. They were among the first to ripen in our garden, too. My only complaint was that they were a little bland so we are going to try the mini reds this year.
