90 days. The perfect-looking golden-orange tomato: smooth, medium- sized and globe-shaped. Excellent for farmer's markets and roadside stands. Fine flavored, rich and fruity. These are good producers of commercial looking fruit.

What are the pros? Taste, low seed, very productive

What are the cons? none

Review:

I grow about 10 varieties of tomatoes each year. Black Krim was my favorite until now. These little beauties were amazing. Mine were more oblong in shape, and smaller than a slicing/beefsteak type tomato. They looked more like a roma tomato shape, but a bit bigger. They are beautiful, and ripen to a very nice dark orange color. The taste was amazing, and they were super productive. I got more tomatoes off of this plant than all my others. I was still picking tons of tomatoes from this plant in November. It didn't seem to be phased by anything. I do a lot of canning with my tomatoes and one thing I really liked was these are low seed to pulp ratio. Almost like a paste tomato. Needless to say these will be growing in my garden every year.

Highest bioavailable lycopene

What are the pros? Best allround orange tomato

What are the cons? None.

Review:

Along with being the best all-round orange tomato that I have grown - flavour, performance, appearance, and versatility - when I researched it, it also turns out to be a very special tomato in terms of its nutrition. Several studies confirm that orange tomatoes have an additional type of lycopene, an important nutrient, that red tomatoes do not have. Both red and orange tomatoes have a lycopene that is bioavailable when the tomato is cooked. But orange tomatoes have a lycopene that is bioavailable when the tomato is eaten raw. And one study demonstrated that Moonglow has the highest amount of this kind of lycopene of the 11 orange tomatoes that were tested. This makes it must-have and staple tomato for my garden from here on.

Review:

I looked forward to satisifying my hunger when gardening with moonglow tomatoes. Perfect size not small tomatoes, very firm and meaty. Well balanced, good slicers for salads and sauces.
