Mustard Habanero Pepper

NEW - 95-100 days—Outrageously colorful habanero-type fruits start out a very light green blushed with purple, and ripen to a unique mustard color and finally to fiery orange, with plants bearing fruits of all colors simultaneously. Originated in the fields of our friend James Weaver, Kutztown, Pennsylvania, where it appeared as an off-type of some more conventional variety. James grew out seed he collected, and the result is a stable and very singular new variety. Super hot, like most habaneros.

What are the pros? Great producer

What are the cons? To many peppers ;)

Review:

This is a great plant. Stated picking peppers in August and am still picking peppers in December. I have so many peppers I keep giving them away. And they are really hot. I grew mine in the ground not in pots.

Review:

I am a big fan of this pepper. I grew two plants in grow pots, and had more flowers than I could count. Both of the plants produced 60+ big beautiful peppers. Also they are hotter than your standard Habanero, with a wild flavor. I am now over wintering one of the plants for fun, because I live in Colorado and the plant is starting to flower again.

Review:

I grew the 2012 seeds and although looked the best as starts amongst all my other peppers, these never developed flowers! The BC serranos that I grew next to the mustard habaneros were amazing!
