60 days. Introduced in 1771 by the French company Vilmorin. The tasty leaves are somewhat the same shape as an oak leaf; very hardy.

What are the pros? fast and easy, tasty

What are the cons? none

Review:

I love this oak leaf lettuce. It makes a pretty head, grows quickly and easily, no pests or diseases. Even my rabbits left it alone. I planted it on April 1, and was harvesting it my mid May. I'm in zone 6. The taste is nice and mild and tender. I'm glad to have had 3 great lettuces, sinch my spinach didn't fare so well.

Review:

This is the most heat resistant and very fastest growing lettuce that I have found for Florida. Most other lettuce here bolts or gets bitter quickly.

We grow this every year. It is slow to bolt here in SE Tennessee. It is a great tasting lettuce and productive.
