What are the cons? Poor taste and texture
I agree with Lauren S. The taste was somewhat bitter, and the skin of the tomato was too thick, which gave it an unappraling texture. Overall, it was just not a pleasant tomato for eating straight out of the garden, in salads, etc. I did not try turning it into paste or sauce; maybe that is where this tomato shines?
