95 days. (C. maxima) Most beautiful flattened and ribbed large fruit are a gorgeous deep red-orange. A very old French Heirloom, this was the most common pumpkin in the Central Market in Paris back in the 1880's. The flesh is tasty in pies or baked. This one can also be picked small, like summer squash, and fried. It is a good yielder too.

What are the pros? Beautiful deep orange color
What are the cons? nothing to dislike!
I live in central Louisiana. These performed very well in my muggy, hot climate. My garden received full sun until about 2pm, then had a little afternoon shade. I planted about 4 hills and ended up with around 15 to 20 of these beauties. We used them as decoration in our Thanksgiving Kindergarten play and they were a hit! They are stunningly beautiful.

What are the pros? Tasted great!
What are the cons? None
This was a great variety for NW Minnesota. The meat was great in pies and baked with brown sugar and butter. Some got to be about 30# and my daughter loved carving and decorating them! Highly recommended!!

Gorgeous, big, deep orange color. It's appearance is a show-stopper . But disappointing for eating. Very watery, stringy, not much flavor. I'll grow this one for display and other varieties for pies, stuffed baked pumpkin, and other dishes.

This was the best yielding pumpkin in my patch. Hot zone 5 this year and this one thrived and thrived early. Will plant again next year.
