Corn Seeds,
Arkansas Red and White

A grand old Arkansas heirloom dent corn with a remarkable second life. Preserved by the Byers family and first offered by us in 2002 after seed came from a local man, this towering 10–12 foot corn bears hefty 8-inch ears in either rich red or creamy white. We feared the variety lost after contamination from nearby GMO corn, but a small forgotten seed sample was recently found and brought back to life. Fine for grits and cornmeal, and tough enough for Southern heat. About 80 days.
