Lettuce Seeds,
Akane Leaf

Deep ruby-red leaves, rich burgundy color, and exceptional eating quality make this one a standout. The color carries right through to the undersides of the leaves, and the texture is tender and refined. It matures quickly, in about 40 days, and is praised as one of the finest-tasting red lettuces they have developed. This beautiful new variety comes from our friends at Kobayashi Seed Company in Japan.
