About Verbena Seeds
Verbena, also known as vervain, is an herbaceous or semi-woody flowering ornamental plant popular in cottage gardens. In the Victorian language of flowers, verbena signifies both enchantment and sensibility, and in the early Christian era, folk legend held that V. officinalis, "devil's bane" or the "holy herb," was used to treat Jesus' wounds when he was brought down from the cross. It's often found in butterfly gardens and is popular with pollinators.
