From Midwestern Roots to Nashville’s Western Swing Stage

From Ohio to Nashville and beyond, The Farmer & Adele invite everyone to step into a world where music connects generations and stories are meant to be shared.
Mark your calendars for these events on Sunday and Monday, April 12–13, 2026
The festival hours are 10am–7pm • Tickets are $10 per adult and good for both days! Kids under 18 get in free.
Bound by marriage and music, Grace Adele and Keenan Wade are the Nashville-based duo behind The Farmer & Adele — reimagining the modern cowboy and cowgirl through the timeless sounds of Western swing. Rooted in tradition and always pointed toward the future, they are building a family legacy grounded in artistry, curiosity, and care.
Recognized leaders in the modern revival of Western swing and roots music, The Farmer & Adele have earned two Ameripolitan Awards — Western Swing Female of the Year (2019) and Western Swing Band of the Year (2020). Their performances blend musical excellence with an inviting, educational spirit that welcomes audiences of all ages.
Their work extends well beyond the stage. From their daily radio show On The Trail with The Farmer & Adele to Songs for Lil’ Cowpokes — a children’s album introducing young listeners to roots music — the duo continually finds new ways to share Western swing. Their forthcoming album, Old + New Western Classics, continues that mission: honoring tradition while reimagining it for a new generation.
A beloved annual highlight, their Country and Western Christmas Party tour has traveled nationwide for nearly a decade, weaving holiday standards, original songs, and a Western swing take on The Nutcracker into a joyful gathering for families and fans — including a recent holiday collaboration with Paul Kowert of The Punch Brothers.
Their latest venture is a live puppet show blending music, storytelling, and education. Co-written with Texas Bix Bender (Riders Radio Theatre) and developed with Nashville Metro Arts, the production explores food sustainability and roots music through characters like Hank Snowpea, Elvis Parsley, and Tater Swift.
