70 days. The first tomato we harvested in our 2014 Missouri garden. This pink slicer boasts positively superb flavor—everyone who tried it was impressed! The flavor is perfect—an ideal balance of sweet to tart, with complex “old fashioned” undertones. Heavy yielder of large pink fruit on vines that appeared to have some disease resistance.

Review:

Planted side by side with brandy wine, beefsteak, Chadwick cherry and San Mariano. Sick plant from the start. Other varieties did well. Only planted one so will give it another chance this year.

What are the pros? None, really

What are the cons? Very few fruit; late to ripen.

Review:

Very disappointing tomato. The staked vines exceed 7 feet, but have produced very few fruit --- maybe 6 per plant. As late blight makes its usual invasion of the tomato bed, most of these are still waiting to ripen. Flavor is okay, but nothing special for a homegrown heirloom tomato. It won't find a place in my future gardens.

What are the cons? no fruit

Review:

this was going to be my new arrival along with the blue beauty. All others are setting fruit, this one not at all. These grew vigorously but all blossoms never started setting fruit, just dry up and fall off. Well it was worth a shot.
