Ensure the radishes receive consistent moisture throughout their growing period, about 1 inch of water per week, to maintain soil moisture and encourage even root growth. Mulching can help retain moisture and suppress weeds. Radishes do not require heavy fertilization; however, avoid high nitrogen levels, as this can encourage leafy growth at the expense of root development.
