The Seed Bank in Petaluma, CA

Heart of Historic Downtown Petaluma

Originally housed in the iconic marble 1924 Sonoma County National Bank, The Seed Bank is now located just half a block south, nestled against the Petaluma River. Still in the heart of historic downtown Petaluma, The Seed Bank is a top destination for home gardeners, small farmers, and foodies. Featuring the entirety of the Whole Seed Catalog’s seed collection, The Seed Bank also offers friendly, expert gardening advice; limited quantities of in-store–raised vegetable, herb, and flower starts; thoughtfully curated books and unique gift items; locally grown, organic fall seed garlic; spring seed potatoes, including the rare landrace Bodega Red; spring and fall flowering bulbs; really cool swag; and killer musical playlists.

Whether you’re planting your first garden or expanding a seasoned homestead, The Seed Bank is your go-to spot for seeds, inspiration, and a touch of Petaluma charm.
